
I’ve only done 24 southern compilations altogether. It’s sort of a shame I haven’t put together more. Provincialist snobs might look down upon bass and booty music but real heads know better. That’s not all that’s going on down below the mason-dixon line. I’ve been ruminating on 5-10 essential southern hip hop albums I’d suggest to anyone.
