Here we have a new T.R.O.Y. Blog series. Those in the T.R.O.Y. Forums may already know it.
Twenty years ago this year, these two landmark albums dropped the same day. Both have that group vibe, cohesive feel and memorable skits to help tie it all together. And yet, are also fairly different from one another.

Tuesday, November 9th, 1993.
Two LPs: Tribe‘s third, off Jive and Wu-Tang‘s debut, on Loud.
Pick your favorite and / or the best album, doesn’t matter.
And feel free to state your case, leave corrections or post additional match ups you would like to see in the comments below.

Yeah Jaz that seems to be the common consensus both here and in the forums. Both have roughly the same amount of votes (actually slightly more here now) but it’s closer to 60 / 40 on the forums.

Tribe had the whiteboys locked since Busta roared on Scenario.
Wu was the last “underground” joint .. meaning BLACK POWER music fom tha guttah that the mainstreem wuznt checkin.
Company Flow was a bunch of pothead niccaz wit no rhythm tryin to make Wu records.
