T.R.O.Y.’s Unofficial Wu-Wednesday (Week 13 BONUS)

EDITORS NOTE: Two days late, but it’s a bonus so technically it’s not really late 🙂

I was feeling a little guilty about being so late with last weeks Wu-Wednesday that I decided to put together a little Shyheim bonus RnB feature for you.

A premature RnB group, one-third Marques Houston. They later changed the group name to IMX because “immature” was no longer fitting their personalities. Remix has two verses from Shyheim.

Immature-Lover’s Groove (CD Single) (1996)
01 Lover’s Groove (LP Version)
02 Lover’s Groove (Get Hooked Remix) feat. Shyheim

Another young RnB group, this time containing Bobby Valentino. Only released the one album in 1996 and broke up in 1998. Shyheim gives shouts to Wu-Tang and TLC (among others), another sign he should have been on a remix of Waterfalls.

Mista-Blackberry Molasses (CD Single) (1996)
01 Blackberry Molasses (LP Version)
02 Blackberry Molasses (Amiri Remix) feat. Shyheim aka The Rugged Child
03 Blackberry Molasses (Long Summer Remix)
04 Blackberry Molasses (Smooth Remix)
05 Blackberry Molasses (Uptempo Radio Edit)
06 Excerpts: Lady • Tears, Scars & Lies • I Think That I Should Be

Quindon (Quindon Tarver) was a solo RnB kid that worked with Chris Stokes (who also worked with Immature) that wrote and directed “You Got Served” in 2004. It’s looks like Quindon auditioned for the 7th season of American Idol and was eliminated in the Hollywood rounds. Another two verses for Shyehim.

Quindon-It’s You That’s On My Mind (Promo CD Single) (1996)
01 It’s You That’s On My Mind (Remix) feat. Shyheim & Smooth
02 It’s You That’s On My Mind (Slow Bump Mix)
03 It’s You That’s On My Mind (Gravy Mix)
