T.R.O.Y.’s Unofficial Wu-Wednesday (Week 13)

Wu-Tang’s smallest artist. I always wished that Shyheim kicked a verse in TLC’s “Waterfalls” after making an appearance in their video. He had a great career going as a youngster, music, movies and TV. Then in 2001 got sent off to prison for a couple years. I know Shyheim helped form Bottom Up music and is about to drop a new album with Dom Pachino of Killarmy. Will 2011 be his comeback year? I hope so.

I might be alone on this, but I prefer the o.g. to the remix. Though the remix beat is hard as hell and dope as fuck and all that, Shyheim’s vocals blend together so well with the o.g. production and this is important for such an emotionally evocative song.

Shyheim’s dopest track to me is Shaolin Style! thats my shit right there. and his 2nd LP is his best work very well produced!
