Adriana Evans is the talented daughter of Mary Stallings, a singer who performed with Count Basie and once recorded an album with Cal Tjader. She’s also the god-daughter of jazz legend Pharaoh Sanders. She’s the voice you hear on Dred Scott’s “Check The Vibe” and she’s had a fruitful career of her own as well. Her musical pedigree gave her an ear for sampled beats that is downright impeccable, and I’ve always thought that the Dred Scott produced instrumentals for her self-titled debut would have worked well as rap songs. Seemingly reading my mind, our resident blend master Vaporized cooked up this compilation of blends featuring classic rap acapaellas from beloved artists like The Artifacts, Gravediggaz, Digable Planets and more, dropped over Adriana Evans instrumentals. The results are excellent and if you aren’t bumping this in anticipation of warmer weather, I question whether or not you really got soul. — Thun

Damn I really don’t know what happened to Megaupload over the past 10 months or so. They used to be so reliable. Now a quarter of time you can’t access links on Megaupload and have wait a few hours ,or a few days even, to download.
Change of ownership? Crackdown by the feds? Does anybody know why MU has changed?

I tried in Firefox and IE and neither worked for me. I’ll try again in a little bit, I’m sure its just a temporary thing since Megaupload never lets me down. Much props to Vaporized though, that Artifacts blend is retarded
